The dysgerminoma is a malignant neoplasm that develops from primodial germ cells in chidren and adolescents. The prevalence of this neoplasm is about 50% of ovarian malignant germ cell tumors. First they were described as embryo cell carcinoma,
granulosa cell carcinoma, large and small cell alveoli carcinoma, endothelioma, epithelioma, gonadoblastoma, gonocytoma, seminoma.
It was subsequently recognized by Robert Meyer as dysgerminoma in 1930. Although dysgerminoma is frequently seen in combination with other of germ cell tumors, dysgerminoma with mature solid teratoma was rarely reported.
We experienced a case of dysgerminoma in combination with mature solid teratoma. We present this case with a brief review of the literatures.
